On Saturday in the afternoon Gran and I made oaty biscuits.
Making Dough
First we put flour into a mixing bowl and then we put some oats in. We also put in egg and milk. Gran accidentally put too much oats in so we had to add more milk and flour. We had more dough so we could make a lot of cookies. Gran and I started to roll the mixture into balls.
Baking the Cookies
We put them on to a baking tray. We put on twelve on at a time. Then we pushed a fork on the cookies to flatten them. Next we put them in the oven to bake! We made 6 and a half dozen thats 78 cookies!
Yum Cookies!
I had fun making cookies with Gran they were yummy! I like cookies!

Swimming
Glenn Snyders and Sophie Pascoe were two famous swimmers in the Commonwealth Games.
Sophie Pascoe won a gold and a silver medal for the 100m breaststroke and won a gold medal for the women's 200m individual medley. Sophie Pascoe then shared a gold medal for the 100m backstroke.
Glenn Snyders won the silver medal in the 50m breaststroke at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in a time of 27.67 seconds.
Sophie Pascoe and Glenn Snyders are both very good swimmers.

A Banana Explanation
Bananas are a tropical fruit, They are yellow coloured. When bananas are rotten they give off a special gas called ethylene(C2H4). A banana’s ethylene speeds up ripening of other fruit. Bananas grow on banana trees. People pick them and the bananas get put into a truck and sometimes get shipped and go to other countries. Then they go on a truck again and go in shops. Ripe bananas can be a nuisance because a whole banana that is rotten could spoil the darn lot in the shipment!!!

Shooting
Shooting has three main events: Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun.
The distance in pistol and rifle are 10m, 25m 50m. The position depends on the event- standing, kneeling or prone position.
The standing position is normally used for pistol. The kneeling position is normally shotgun or rifle and prone positions are normally for rifle.
Shooting is not an active sport… its all about accuracy.

How to be a Successful Learner at school
To be a successful learner you have to have neat writing, listen to the teacher and do your homework so you can be better at Reading, Maths and Spelling for when you are older. To be a better writer you need punctuation.
If you want to be a better reader you need to do your homework well and read other books even if you aren't told to read a book. If you want to be a better speller you need to do your homework by practising your spelling words.
To be a successful learner you have to do all of those things and you need to be kind to others. Don't get distracted if they are annoying you and if they don’t stop annoying you just ignore them.
